I would just like to say...

Just wanted to write down a short thought that has been nagging at me and seems to be annoying the shit out of me lately:

It is my firm belief that there are far too many lesbian relationships that exist based on the sole, SINGLE thing that the two women share in common: they are both attracted to women, or are both essentially lesbians.

In other words, that's the only thing they have in common and nothing else.

Too many lesbian relationships are out there that are fuckin miserable because they aren't good matches. Whether they're just insecure, lonely or whatever, they all have their reasons for dating but what do they have in common? What is it that drew them to that woman and no other woman?  Well, for ALOT of lesbian couples they have no common ground or anything, just attraction and butterflies.

Attraction and butterflies...

Nothing  more.

Shallow.

Dude, even if I wasn't with Ray, I think I'd be single forever. Why? Well, I'm just a picky, picky person. I think that's only right. If we were all as picky as I am, we'd have less divorces and failed relationships. Is that a conceited thought? Meh, maybe. I don't really care how that comment is perceived though because it is true. People should be more careful in choosing their partners. Don't just go for something because it's just there.

Don't.
